From Staveley Mill Yard (outside Wilf’s cafe) MR SD 471983
- River Kent, Dales Way: This is the prettiest part of the river Kent, said to be one of England's fastest rivers. Weirs that were once the lifeblood of industry now support the habitat of wildlife. Enjoy the water, woods and surrounding countryside and see the villages of Burneside and Bowston. 7 miles, practically flat.
- Heath & Valley: Out along the river Kent and up the west side of the valley to Ratherheath and Ashes Lane.
Best of both worlds, combining views of the surrounding hills with riverside scenery. 6 miles and about 250 feet of gentle ascent.
- Ashes Dash
Out to the south of Staveley up to Ashes Lane, descend to Bowston and back along the riverside . 6 miles and 500 feet
- Tarn & Dubs: A steep climb gets us quickly to Potter Tarn and Gurnal Dubs, providing a real sense of achievement in a surprisingly short time.
- Kentmere Canter
8½ miles mainly on quiet roads to Kentmere Village and back along the other side of the river Kent. A relatively fast run for those who want to up their mileage.
- Kentmere Clamber
Both sides of the Kent valley, crossing the river near Browfoot. 6½ miles and 1000 feet
- Browfoot and Ings
5½ miles (option to extend to 6 miles) mix of road and tracks including an energetic climb in the middle.
- Outrun from Staveley
6½ miles taking the Dales Way towards Bowness and an easy return via Ings along the roadside footpath.

A 7 mile undulating circuit crossing the rivers Kent and Sprint. Out on the Dales Way to Skelmsmergh Tarn and back on roads, farm tracks and footpaths.
